Elrond is angry. And this takes him to a fairly different route when dealing with Galadriel in Círdan’s workshop. 😉
While I was writing this and looking at the scene in S2E2 I realized that the shipbuilding hall is an opened structure on one side, but let’s pretend that it is a fully closed building. 😀
Elrond is petty and unreasonable here, but jealousy can make people say and think many things they otherwise wouldn’t do…

“How long have Herald Elrond and the Lady Galadriel been betrothed?” - asked Arondir the elf sitting beside him. Vorohil suddenly grew very pale and spit out the last small mouthful of wine he was about to enjoy in peace.
Our friends observe and draw the wrong (or right?) conclusions. And the rumor mill has a life of its own. Meanwhile our heroes try to come to terms with their feelings. Set around the foundation of Imladris after the siege of Eregion.
Yes, I know canon, but hey, this is fanfiction! Even before TRoP I was fascinated by the deep bond between these two and I didn’t even understand the lack of fanfiction about Elrond and Galadriel. Then season 2 of TRoP made me fall in love with them and ever since ep 7 this plot bunny just didn’t stop bugging me! I mean, does anyone really believe that Vorohil was so noble and discreet that he didn’t tell anyone about The Kiss???
