On the Third of November 1959 Sirius and Regulus Black were born. Sirius came first, entering the world with a cry, always the louder of the two. Regulus was born 3 minutes later, wide eyed and without so much as a whimper. The brothers were inseparable from the beginning. Anywhere Sirius was found causing chaos Regulus was sure to be trailing along behind him. They were to be Walburga and Orion’s perfect heirs to the House of Black with matching black curls and piercing grey eyes.

Hunk’s hands flew to his mouth, his expression crumpling as he stumbled to a corner, retching until his stomach was empty. Shiro stood frozen, his face unreadable, masking his horror in the practiced way of a soldier, but his trembling hands gave him away. Lance’s vision blurred, his throat aching as he forced down a sob. All he wanted was to run to Keith, to cradle him, to shield him from any more pain.
He took a step forward, but Shiro grabbed his arm, his voice rough. “Lance, don’t. If we move him the wrong way...we could do more harm than good. We have to wait for the medical team. They’ll know how to stabilize him safely.” His voice, usually so steady, wavered with barely controlled emotion, and Lance’s stomach twisted in agony.
