"Yes," Harry said emphatically. "It has been the worst day."
The other man rubbed his foot over Harry's ankle, "We could get out of here," he offered.
He opened his mouth, ready to say yes because he was craving the closeness of Draco's skin on his, craving the after when it was warm and calm, when Draco trailed his fingers over Harry's skin and made pleasure and contentment radiate from the core of Harry's being.
But he very much was not in the mood for sex.
Slowly he shook his head, "I'm exhausted," he said, "and I don't want to disappoint you," he added. "As much as I'd like to spend more time with you, it's not what we do an-"
"Harry," he interrupted, reaching over across the table and tentatively touching his hand. "We don't have to," he broke off and cleared his throat, cheeks flushing a delicate shade of pink. "Sometimes," he said, starting over, "When I've had a bad day, I like to go home and curl up on the couch, eat cookie dough, and watch a movie." He took a deep breath, "I know it's not how we started but I'd like to do that with you, if that's something you'd enjoy."

“Do you want me to stay?“ Draco offered. "You can get cleaned up and we can order some take out and eat it on my sofa?”
Godric Harry wanted that. He had secretly, or maybe not so secretly, grown to love when they did that. Quiet nights in on the sofa, watching Draco’s muggle telly or just talking. Perfection.
But Draco wasn’t the homebody that Harry was. He loved to go out and celebrate, loved parties with lots of people and noise. He was always incandescent during evenings out, jubilant with the victory of a case solved, smiling and laughing, warm and loose. Pub night was probably the first time that Harry realized he loved the stupid prat. Maybe. He shook his head, “Nah, you go ahead. I’m exhausted, I’d probably just fall asleep halfway through dinner and get Thai food all over me.”
“I know plenty of good stain remover spells,” he offered.
“Go on,” Harry said with a chuckle. “I’ll be fine, I promise.”
“You’re sure?”
“Yeah,” Harry replied. “Thank you, though. For caring.”
“Pssh,” Draco said, giving Harry’s shoulder a shove, “I don’t care, I just don’t want to go through the hassle of training another partner to make me the perfect cup of tea.”

“Bed, love,” a soft voice murmured, startling Harry where he was not sleeping on his stack of grading he had yet to complete.
“Can’t,” he said, shaking his head and then his hands for good measure. “Too much to do.”
Draco huffed a soft laugh, fingers gently squeezing Harry’s neck and soothing the tension. “You’re just sleeping at the desk.”
He shook his head again and forced his eyes open, “I wasn’t,” he argued, lying through his teeth. “Just resting my eyes. They hurt,” he added as he shoved his glasses up to rub them.
