“You haven’t been sleeping.”
“You’re one to talk,” Geto says, failing to wrestle a derisive chuckle from his voice. “When was the last time you got more than four hours?”
“Deflecting. Come on, you think I can’t see these dark circles?” He prods at one. “You look like hell, Suguru.”
Geto crosses Gojo's path on a bad day for both of them. They're all bad days lately. Somehow, though, being together again — even if one of them has a raging migraine and the other is seething with doubt and guilt and anger — makes this particular day a little less miserable.

Satoru takes another step forwards, arms spreading wide in excitement, “Yūji-kun! You’re here!”
“Oh my God,” the child repeats breathlessly, sounding far older than any child his age should sound, unable to tear his eyes away from Satoru. The boy shakes faintly, shock maybe, words a shaky exhale, “it’s really- you’re- you look- this is— oh my God!”
Annnnd there’s really no doubting it now.
Clearly those vivid dreams of war, imprisonment and eleven years of growing up is not the dream Satoru had thought it to be since waking up in the infirmary as a seventeen-year-old student, way back before the source of all his problems defected from Jujutsu society.

Summary
Satoru has this habit. Maybe tendency is a better word for it. It started in second year. Satoru was always interested in girls. He really liked Inoue Waka, and he’d scope out the magazines at the convenience stores, flipping through the photos of the models and idols. Suguru would stand next to him with his selection of drink and snack in hand, browsing the magazine titles. And Satoru would show Suguru the ones he thought were cute and would comment on them.
Now that they’re in fourth year, Satoru has become downright vulgar with his comments. Suguru has never said anything when Satoru’s tendency flares up. But for some reason, today, Suguru speaks.
“You know, the way you talk makes it seems like you’re overcompensating for something.”

Or Suguru and Satoru play gay chicken. Because they're in love, but they're also idiots.
