Summary
Ciaphas Cain had thought himself rather clever for switching his first deployment as a Commissar from the originally intended Artillery Regiment to the Vacation Planet of Fracterus. He should have known that the universe would hardly let him have such an easy time.
The Emperor, after all, needed a way to bring His will back to that sector. And while His will may be dolled out with hammer and bolter via his Primarchs and his Angels of Death, that does not mean that the ordinary man has no place in his plans, they just had to be....tweaked.

Summary
Momo Yaoyorozu is stuck in a downward spiral. She knows that she shouldn’t let her poor performance in the Sports Festival and her abysmal internship at Uwabami’s agency get to her since some of her classmates had poorer showings or went through worse internships.
Still doubts are eating away at her. Was she truly worthy of being a hero? Would she have been able to qualify for the hero course without her influential parents getting a recommendation for her? Desperate to find her footing again she had an idea. Maybe an outside perspective would help her find ways to improve and she just knew the perfect people for the job.
The star students of the Support Course Hatsume Mei and Midoriya Izuku had defied expectations during the Sports Festival. The wits, determination and sheer ferocity of the latter had carried him further than Momo, despite not having a powerful Quirk to rely on. If anybody was able to help her than it would be him.

In sharing this particular fragment of the Cain Archive, it is my wish to shed light on a less explored period of Ciaphas Cain's life: that is, when the Commissariat sent him to liaise with Lord General Zyvan and his staff on Coronus. By then, Cain's career and status as Hero of the Imperium (despite his private protestations about the title) were well established and he found himself quite taken with a life that, for being more stable and comfortable than what he had known before, still put his particular skills to good use. The events described in this fragment illustrate well, I believe, the outrageous aptitude he had for always finding himself in the thick of things (albeit reluctantly) — a talent that made him a most valuable asset to the Inquisition.
