Giyuu likes to spend a lot of time with him now; he doesn't talk that much, but he listens to Tanjirou and gives him his undivided attention every single time. Sometimes, he gives the redhead advice on how to hold his katana and takes him out to dinner.
They have tasted a lot of food from different places now; Giyuu is the one who pays for everything and assures Tanjirou it's fine because he makes way more money than him.
Tanjirou is not used to having people paying for his stuff, so he keeps telling the water hashira he wants to give him something in return.
"Alright," Giyuu smiles again, stroking one of Tanjirou's cheeks with his thumb. "I want a kiss."

Melt leaned a bit closer to Aqua, his head just barely resting against Aqua’s, enjoying the view and his presence in silence, and as he felt Aqua lean his head back too, Melt smiled softly.
