Todoroki and Bakugou have graduated UA and their lives have since taken unexpected turns. Then they keep running into each other. It's confusing, messy, and explosive every time.
"Something New" is all scenes that they end up totally alone together, all in Todoroki's POV.
The other entries in the series are in Bakugou's POV and are set in between chapters in "Something New" and occur when Bakugou and Todoroki are alone in a crowd or otherwise 'nearly alone.'

“No, no, not like that. Uh.” Todoroki shook his head like he was clearing something away. “That’s… that’s another conversation.”
Bakugou smirked. He wondered what kind of weird stuff Todoroki was into. It was always the quiet ones.
“Stop looking at me like that,” Todoroki hissed. “What I meant was – if we keep hooking up, then… then no one can know.”Or,

“What the fuck do you mean you can't?!” Bakugou scowled harder in aggravation.
“I can't, You’re too pretty” He said, feeling utterly wronged.
Bakugou's jaw dropped open and his grip slackened, his eyes widened in surprise, he was wearing eyeliner today too, it really made his eyes quite lovely.

Shouto and Katsuki have been together since Izuku's stint as a vigilante prior to the Final Battle. They finished school, and then helped a shattered Japan rebuild in the wake of the lingering devastation left by fighting All For One and Shigaraki Tomura. After several grueling years, Shouto and Katsuki decide to pack it up and move to the United States for a bit to learn under Stars & Stripe's successor.
Now, they're gearing up to return home to Japan and have purchased their first home together. Many things in Japan are the same as when they left, but many other things are not. At the very least, everything seems alright as they re-join the Japanese Hero community. Right?
Shouto and Katsuki have to navigate their new reality together when something altogether unexpected comes knocking.

Katsuki caught sight of a flicker of movement out of the corner of his eye. It was a swaying motion, and Katsuki had spent enough time around teenagers who pushed themselves to the absolute limit in training and fights to know the telltale signs of a person seconds from passing the fuck out.
It was Todoroki, the bastard. His ice cream, only half finished, slipped through his fingers, landing cone side up on the carpet as his head lolled sideways, body tipping to follow it. He fell towards Katsuki.
Katsuki caught him instinctively, with little effort. One arm scooped behind shoulders and the other wrapped over and around his waist as Todoroki went limp. He was solid, but not heavy, and Katsuki found himself standing in the middle of the common room with Icy Hot awkwardly slumped against him. He was out like a light, pale lashes fanned out over his cheeks, and his chest rising and falling with deep, even breaths.
Midoriya yelped. “Todoroki?!”
Shouto is struck by a strange quirk that causes him to fall asleep randomly and without warning. Katsuki swears he's not concerned.

When Shouto looks at him, he’s smiling softly. Proud, like Kota just won gold at the science fair or helped a little old lady walk across the street.
“He’s absolutely your kid, huh?” Shouto asks, voice deceptively neutral. “Like a mini version of you.”
Bakugou shoves at his shoulder, rolling his eyes while trying not to laugh. “Shut the fuck up, Half ‘n half.”

It's fine, he's coping, he's dealing with it—his hair grows out long, longer than it's ever been, and that's fine too.
Until it isn't. But Todoroki being in the right place at the wrong time in the communal boys bathroom as Katsuki is shaving his entire head in a fit of late night mania might just be the solution—one that spans years—that neither of them were looking for.

Whatever. He’s clearly got a life of torment ahead of him, so he can be the bigger person and rise above this. The pair of them better buckle up and listen good.

Todoroki Shouto meanders into the centre of Bakugou's universe of a dreary day in September. He fucks it up - quite spectacularly.

He makes every damn thing look effortless, but when Katsuki’s his opponent, he has to actually try for once.
So then– what the hell is he supposed to do when the half and half bastard stops trying?
Or: Bakugou and Todoroki have an arrangement to spar after school for stress relief. But when Todoroki starts looking and acting strangely, Bakugou starts to pay a little closer attention.
