Summary
Maybe if they had a little more time, Oda would learn to understand everything about Dazai. He would learn to unravel him in a way no one else will ever be able to, touch him completely bare and naked. Crawl through every opening he sees, turning him into his fascinatingly miserable muse.
Right now, though, he won’t let himself. Things aren’t meant to be this way. That’s what he thinks.
But he was wrong before. He knows that too.
Alternatively: before hitting the ground, Dazai is pulled right back into his agony by a gravity manipulator.

“Why would I laugh? I have never laughed in my life,” Dazai says earnestly, holding a hand to his chest. He’s wearing the soft pink romper Chuuya bought him, the one with the big pockets and easy buttons, and his hair is clipped back from his face, making him look even softer.
Pregnancy is a good look on Dazai: Chuuya’s never seen him so full of life, cheeks flushed and skin sheened with a healthy glow. He’s filled out in more areas than just his stomach, his thighs becoming delightfully plush, his breasts softer and fuller; the scars lining his skin are matched to soft pink and white stretch marks, Chuuya’s favorite places to kiss. He’s sensitive all over, and delightfully sweet.

Summary
Early mornings are not Oda’s favorite thing. He’s getting old, and his body aches more by the day, so waking up is almost a chore most days. However, waking up early does come with a few perks: the pale light streaming through the curtains makes for a pretty picture, and Dazai’s soft breaths beside him are calming and sweet. Even more so is the chance to wake Dazai up from his slumber with a gentle touch.
While it takes a lot for Dazai to fall asleep, once he’s out, he’s out-- so when Oda smoothes one hand over the planes of his stomach, rucking his shirt up to his neck, he doesn’t stir. Laid out flat on his back, lips parted slightly, even breaths puffing from between them, Dazai is spread across Oda’s bedsheets, arms splayed out to his sides and legs spread slightly. It’s easy for Oda to pry them further apart, to slip between milky thighs and smooth his hands up slim hips. Thin sleep shorts and skimpy panties slide easy down his long legs, discarded over the side of the bed.
