Kaeya only leaned against his hand as he stared up at the ceiling, not paying any mind to the questioning looks he's receiving in the Angel's Share.
No doubt, he's sure his brother would be fairly amused if he was aware this was only the beginning to a look into his history.
But alas, even he knows that nothing would be left untouched no matter how much he suffers for answers.
"So just enjoy this one, your Eminence. Or should I say, dear reader?"
He smiles to the Heavens beyond the false sky before returning to his drink, taking a sip before getting lost in the faint reflection of his face. A face he knows belongs to the divine beyond this reality, it was clear when he gained a piece of their Eminence themselves after all.
He knows you can see this, but he knows these words are only that, words. But it's a story you wish to read, so who is he to judge their Eminence for writing this world into existence in the first place.

Though I must say, your speed is incredibly impressive. I'd figured you'd arrive earliest by tomorrow sundown in this ridiculous Desert environment." He glances at Alhaitham and raises his brow. "Though now I understand."
Alhaitham shifts awkwardly. "Um...right."

Kaeya's ways of getting information backfires. In an attempt to rescue him, Alhaitham and Cyno learn of an ancient plot from the people of the Godless land to annihilate the Archons, starting with the weakest link, the runt of the family, Kusanali.
