Summary
Toriel has taken Kris and Noelle out of Hometown with several other Students and Teachers from Hometown High School for a spelling bee within Boston for several Days, leaving the Dreemurr Household completely empty outside of Hometown's golden boy, Asriel Deemurr.
Yet his luck finds himself suffering from a rather nasty infection, what by the 2nd Day of suffering from it has left him in bed because he is simply too cold and exhausted to leave bed, forcing him to unwillingly rely on his girlfriend. December Holiday to take care of him until his status improves enough so that he's self-sufficent again.

Summary
If you're not careful, or if you're simply in the wrong place at the wrong time, and you noclip out of Reality in the wrong areas, you'll end up in the Backrooms.
A place forsaken by the Angel, saturated by the stink of moist carpet and the endless hallways of dull yellow wallpaper, and approximately 8.8 million miles of randomly generated hallways and rooms, a place not meant for life to inhabit, on the very edge of comprehension.
Yet December "Dess" Holiday finds herself in the madness of mono yellow and the stagnant buzz of overhead lights, an unending nightmare of the complete desolation of senses, to be left alone with her broken and sullen mind, and the lack of medication will soon begin to take effect on her bruised mind, as she must find an exit from the Complex she has found herself in, as she runs on borrowed time.

Asriel "Azzy" Dreemurr has been struggling at College for awhile, finding himself unable to juggle his personal life back at Hometown with the College life he presently lives, as the work he's doing has begun to consume him and he is struggling to keep his head above the surface.
His girlfriend since 16, December "Dess" Holiday who has remained in Hometown has recognized Asriel's plight, and has decided to pay him a surprise visit at his Dorm within the College he's attending to try and pull him away from his books, and convince him that it isn't worth ruining himself over College work.

It is the year 2040, and NASA Astronaut Asriel Dreemurr is apart of the JAXA/ESA/NASA Reiner IV Mission to the Planet of Mars, being apart of the first crewed landings of the Red Planet, yet he had always decided to go down this long and troublesome path, for a single reason.
His young love and former best friend, December Holiday had always been a big fan of space, and had radical aspirations to be apart of NASA, and eventually become one of the first people to step foot on Mars, to the point where she had put genuine effort into her grades so that she could get into a good College, and hopefully become an Astronaut.
But 18 Years before her golden boy had become one of the first people, and the First Monster to set foot on the Red Planet, a tragic drunk driving accident had claimed her life, and Asriel had strove to step foot on the Red Planet, to honour her, and he swore on her grave that he'd make it there, and he has no intent to not make good on his promise to her...
