Rain World: Twisted Affirmative is a Monster Hunter inspired AU where the Iterators go rogue, with only the collapsed Iterators still having their minds intact. The Iterators who were previously unconscious reawakened, yet their life forces remain unstable. Nature lives in fear of the Rogue Iterators, as they will ruthlessly attempt to kill anything that moved even slightly with their reawoken powers. Some even grow so powerful, they are able to reshape ecosystems however they liked. They are, however, just as much of a victim as nature is.

Summary
Five Pebbles builds a simulation and escapes reality as Monk.
There she is: the Little Archeologist. Just as his sister had described, though much smaller. And he is the wayward animal frolicking in his memory arrays looking for his sibling, that bright yellow coat is unforgettable.
And Looks to the Moon is there too, alive and well. The yellow overseers just as numerous as cyan ones.
It is the picture perfect circumstance, perfectly engineered to be so. Not that he would know about the specifics anymore, deliberately so, to a project painstakingly crafted over 1.3 million cycles in his underpowered and derelict state. An escape from his predicament in a sense, if not from the Cycle entirely. A dream of a simpler life he was never allowed to experience.
And experience life he shall, with both hands holding tight to this opportunity of his own making, kicking and screaming with the stalwart diligence befitting a former iterator, once on the verge of self ascension.
Step aside, follies of his past. Monk shall enjoy life!
