Brilliant and unnerving fic. Yearning and UST. Despite them being fuck buddies outside work, they won’t do anything at work but the way it plays out in combination with the creature or ghost’s interference is fascinating and intense. The suspense was amazing. I couldn’t stop reading despite being exhausted and having a really sharp headache come on, I was riveted. Need to reread ASAP.
Some aspects of this fic reminded me of how I felt reading Cruel River, another fave in this genre of fics.
Ambiguous ending that I loved. Creepy!!!!
