There was nothing left to distract the former club president.
That was until she heard a whisper, and that whisper wanted to write a poem, and finally wipe away Monika's writer's block. Monika was naturally curious, so she followed that voice's lead. She had to know what was going on.

Summary
It defies Death. It defies Time. Void has potential without any limit. The Lord of Shades rises in Godhome after ending the plague. But really, all Ghost wants to do is to go home. They did not kill the source of the infection for not going back to Hallownest. Shade Lord or not. They would give them all a happy ending. After all, what was the point in ending the infection if not to save everyone?
Or
Ghost kills the Radiance in Godhome and becomes the Lord of Shades, never entering the Black Egg or killed the Dreamers. Now, Ghost, along with Hornet and the newly-freed Hollow Knight takes it upon themselves to help everyone recover and perhaps give this forgotten kingdom the future it deserves.
