Summary
Ahsoka Tano told Din to bring Grogu to the Seeing Stone on Tython, and Grogu would be able to call out to other Jedi. Ahsoka Tano did not say that other Jedi might call out to him or that the pillar of blue light was actually a type of planetary transportation.
Din ends up on a planet he's never heard of with nothing but his armor and his child. A lot has changed but his mandate hasn't. He must reunite Grogu with one of his kind. But first, he has to help these ade win a civil war against the dar'buir who abandoned them.
AKA Din goes back in time and doesn't realize it. He meets some other Mandalorians, gains another child, and then goes to Tatooine, because it's familiar enough to be called home.

Tarre Vizsla was insane and her own Master was a crazy Jedi according to some.
Tarre Vizsla charged her with saving his people from their destruction. He claimed she had Mandokarla.
That was a load of bantha poodoo. She was no Mandalorian. The meddling armored Jedi was wrong. What he wanted was a job for an actual Mandalorian.
If only she knew what Tarre Vizsla had up his armored vambraces.
You bet your butt, she would have refused. But maybe... Just maybe... She might have Mandokarla after all.

In the gossip circles of the Jedi Temple, the wandering masters were legendary figures. Stories circulated of wise, powerful masters who lived their lives following the will of the Force in the farthest reaches of the galaxy, never returning to Coruscant. There was, however, a constant variable to those tales; the wandering masters were actually heard of.
Along with pretty much all of the other Jedi in the Temple, Senior Initiate Obi-Wan Kenobi had never heard of the Mandalorian Jedi Master who had beat Master Windu in a spar like it was nothing.
Sol Vizsla however, the daughter of Tarre Vizsla, was very aware of who Initiate Kenobi is. Because he was her next padawan. After centuries of ending planetary civil wars in Wild Space and dismantling slavery rings in the Outer Rim, Yoda’s grandmaster returns to the Temple to make sure that a bright young boy isn’t forced into partnership with a man who will lead his self-esteem to ruin.
