His face splits in half with his smile and he darts forwards to kiss her quickly. “I hope so; I’ve never been in love like I am with you.”
The door clicks open and, “I don’t think you wanna be soul mates.”
Ugh. Peter drops his forehead onto Gwen’s shoulder as her roommate walks in. She’s not rude per se, and she seems to never want to be around him and Gwen but there’s something about her that gets under his skin.
“And why’s that Michelle?” he asks, moving to a sitting position on the couch as opposed to lying over his girlfriend.
