Summary
“Saw Izzy again today,” Stede remarks brightly, fingers fluttering over the packets of flour, of smoked fish, green tomatoes and sugar lumps and dried tea.
“Yeah?” Ed asks, watching his hands and thinking about rings. “What’d he say?”
Ed and Stede start fixing up a fixer-upper. Ed tries grief and fruit carving. Stede argues with a ghost that only he can see.

Summary
As newly appointed Co-Generals of the Resistance, Poe and Finn go on a diplomatic mission to Passio Verak, a planet that was until recently under First Order rule. However what appears at first to be a purely ceremonial visit soon takes a more sinister turn. In the midst of fighting for their lives, Poe struggles with leadership, the lasting effects of the war and the messy reality of his feelings for Finn.
(C-3PO hesitates and then, in a passable robotic simulation of a whisper, he says, “Not to question your judgement sirs, but perhaps it would be best not to give the impression that your marriage is in trouble? Palace gossip can be frightfully insidious.”
“Our what now?” Poe says dumbly, blinking. Behind him he hears Finn make a strangled sort of noise.
“Your marriage.” C-3PO says and then tuts. “Oh dear, you really didn’t read the manual on Verakian customs I provided, did you?”)

Summary
Food plays a significant cultural role. It can be used to build friendships, to offer comfort, and to entice... or it can be used as a means of control.
Dismayed to learn that Finn has experienced precious little in his life beyond trooper rations and the First Order's restrictive attitudes towards its people, Poe is determined to introduce him to all the galaxy can offer.
That... might not be limited to just food, actually.
