“I’m so glad you’re here,” Dream muttered lowly, loud enough for only George to hear it. Dream’s voice sent chills down George’s spine, the hair on his arms raised and his cheeks red with warmth.
His soul bond pulsed at the touch, licking heat around his heart and squeezing the organ tighter than Dream’s arms ever could. George supposed the way his soul bond reacted around Dream was the result of falling for your platonic soulmate, squeezing his heart to hurt the way heartbreak does.
“I’m glad I’m here too,” George whispered back, and Dream squeezed him a little tighter.

Summary
George lives in a small town in the Swiss Alps, his parents own a hotel. It's the winter before he'll graduate and he's resolved to spend as much of it skiing with his friends as possible.
When Dream, the son of a rich couple who have frequented the town for the past ten years, shows up with a few friends to stay in his parents' ski lodge, all five of them being reckless and rude snowboarders, a rivalry between the local skiiers and the spoiled kids breaks out.
Falling in love wasn't part of the plan.

He wishes, somewhere in the back of his head, that he could raise his cheek to George’s cheek and maybe lay trust to his skin. It would not say much, but it would honor a necessity that both of them could carry for days.

In hopes of mending multiple relationships, Dream goes off-grid to a home he hasn't seen in years. He takes his friends with him.

“I still don’t like you by the way, even if you did invite me to this stupid party” George comments, sitting up and taking a sip of his drink that he had put on the step below him (it had been replaced with water a long time ago due to George being an absolute rowdy drunk and Punz not wanting someone to die of alcohol poisoning on his front lawn).
“Guess I’ll just have to make you like me then, won’t I?” Dream smirks at the brunette.
George looks at him for a second with a look of uncertainty, his eyes flicking down to Dream’s lips.
“Oh yeah?” George teases, leaning in a bit with a devilish smile toying at his lips.
Dream swallows the lump in his throat. “Yeah” He breathes out.
“How are you going to do that?” George questions. Dream can feel his hot breath on his face, and he knows what’s going to happen next.

George and Dream are rivals in college football, George is a rich private school kid who hates the all too charming Dream.
