Summary
Starting immediately after the end of Chapter 2's Dark World, Kris finds that whatever entity was controlling them is gone. Connection severed.
Kris has been on the brink of resigning themselves to a lifetime of puppetry, and are now left with more options and choice than they were ever prepared to have. Naturally, they kind of freak out.
So, the first thing they need is some time to themselves. Just to process what felt like years of of possession. But they are never one to go about things the sensible fashion.
And the worst part about being freed from an extended period of possession? You forget how to keep your feelings in check.

Mono only rolled his eyes. “I meant, you’ve got a point. I do want to know the reason behind her stupid decision. So fine! I’ll follow you until I get to ask her…”
“Oh, that’s great!”
“And kill her after...” he deliberately mumbled it loud enough so Viola could hear him.
She shot him a death glare.
“What? I was joking! Can’t a guy make a silly joke about killing his betrayer he once called a friend?” Mono smiled innocently as if that joke wasn’t dark itself.
“That’s my mom you’re talking about, so you better be joking.” She put her hand on Mono’s shoulder. “Or else I’m gonna have to bury two bodies instead of one.” Viola patted him on the back and walked away.
Now it was her turn to smile oh-so-innocently.

Summary
A what-if story set ten years after Six dropped Mono. With him trapped, like his fate had always been, in the Tower and the Eyes within. But this time, the years of his imprisonment changed him to the point that he nearly broke... But when the Eyes let their guard down and thought he gave up...he manages to escape.
And with that, breaking the time loop and starting a completely new timeline.

Now, after 7 years they are reunited, as if fate had brought them together.
Old wounds are reopened, memories are brought to the surface, as forces beyond them conspire once more to bring about that which they brought about before.
And all they can do is hang on, survive, like they always have.
