“Yeah, I think this is maybe the third time I’ve seen him ever?” Cherri added. “And I’ve been hanging around here for weeks. What does he even do?”
Charlie pulled her knees up to her chest. “As far as I can tell, he just stays in his room. I thought that moving someplace with a lot of people would discourage him from doing that, but I almost feel like it’s gotten worse…”
“Huh, wonder what he does in there all day,” Angel said. And then Niffty spoke up for the first time, having been eerily silent since the game started.
“Oh, he mostly just sleeps,” she said. All eyes turned to her, but she didn’t seem to notice, adding more chips to the pot. “Raise.”
There were a few grumbles, but all of the other players added more chips, except for Charlie.
“Wait, what do you mean he just sleeps?”
Even after moving to the hotel, Lucifer's self-isolation does not improve. Charlie is worried about her father, so her friends encourage her to talk to him about it.
