Summary
After Aventurine dies in Penacony, the IPC commissions the Genius Society to bring him back by building an Intellitron. Dr. Veritas Ratio, Aventurine’s bereaved husband, insists on joining the project. However, the Intellitron version of Aventurine is nothing like him—rather, it is a cruel mockery of him, embodying only his worst qualities. Ratio spirals into even deeper grief, but not all hope is lost. Aventurine was always incredibly lucky, after all.
