It’s a nice box, Zelda thinks. Simply but skillfully carved, made of dark, polished wood with a gold clasp and a hinged lid. Elegant, but understated. The kind of box you might use for storing silverware, or handkerchiefs, or jewellery.
The kind of box you probably wouldn’t keep under a bed.

“Your father, the king, would execute me for letting you travel by yourself.”
“Oh, so this is about self-preservation?”
“Yes. Yours. There are monsters all over Hyrule now, Your Highness.” Blue eyes pointedly looked her up and down. “And by the looks of it, you’re not equipped to handle that.”
She mirrored his scrutiny and scoffed. “What, and you are?” She gestured to the cairns beyond the trees. “Are you going to protect me as well as you protected them?”Calamity is here.
The Goddess Hylia appointed but two children to prevent the end of the world. The powers they were promised don't come easily, and after years of failure, Princess Zelda can't help but wonder if Hylia chose wrong. It certainly doesn't help that the boy fate has tangled her with makes her seethe.[This story is set in a fusion of BotW/TotK, with a couple tweaks and some familiar faces'n'places from older games joining along the way!]

Summary
Rusty's always heard the call of the forest, but today he feels it especially strongly. Braving his friend Smudge's warnings about the sins of ferals, he ventures in...and discovers the world of the warrior cats. The moment he gets a taste of Thunderclan, a society of cats who not just live but thrive in the forest, he wants nothing but to know more and more.
He's inducted into the clan and renamed Firepaw according to their traditions, and soon learns all he can and more about the world of the four clans in the forest.
