Summary
At first glance, Josie is the exact definition of a good girl, Hope is the complete opposite. They'd been playing their little hate game since junior high, and it seemed like they were both fine with it.
This happens until they accidentally meet in a place where they didn't even think they could ever meet each other. This casts doubt on all their beliefs about each other, and it turns out that maybe Josie is not so different from Hope, and love and hate are two sides of the same coin.

Summary
After what happened with Dark Josie and the people she hurt, Josie leaves Mystic Falls and goes into self-exile. 2 Years later she is forced to return home, she never intended to stay but she couldn't say no to Hope. Only Lizzie and Landon are not happy about her return though both had different reasons.
Lizzie because she lost her sister for 2 years without a phone call and Landon because Josie's return as Hope pulling away from him.
