Summary
At first glance, Josie is the exact definition of a good girl, Hope is the complete opposite. They'd been playing their little hate game since junior high, and it seemed like they were both fine with it.
This happens until they accidentally meet in a place where they didn't even think they could ever meet each other. This casts doubt on all their beliefs about each other, and it turns out that maybe Josie is not so different from Hope, and love and hate are two sides of the same coin.

Josie Saltzman awoke with a start, chest heaving, heart racing, and sweat cascading across her skin, exposed and otherwise. If she could see her face, she’d note it—and nearly everything else—was flush, and despite the cool fall night, she was roasting. The brunette threw off the covers as best she could—considering her girlfriend was sound asleep beside her, peacefully, yet gripping the covers tightly as though they were a lifeline in a choppy sea. The night-cooled air in the Saltzman twins’ bedroom no longer smelled of sage and incense, but instead of human arousal. For in one particular area of the siphon’s body, the dampness was most assuredly not sweat.
