Summary

This story takes place about ten months after season 4 of Legacies ended. Hope has her humanity back on, but she’s been struggling with her emotions. She refuses to deal with them at all, so she either locks herself up in her room or sleeps with Maya to feel anything. No, Josie knows she does. It’s just that her humanity is off. It’s only the most hurt and buried parts of Hope speaking right now. Josie can’t lose sight of that or they’re never going to get out of this.
“You’re trying to prove that to yourself, aren’t you?” she asks, a tremor in her voice. “That’s why you brought me along. Did you even stop by the school for weapons, or was it an excuse to take me with you and prove this lie you’re telling yourself?”
