Summary
Anon is on his last leg after the Volcano High shooting, having lost all sense of purpose and will to live after the loss of Fang and seeming abandonment by everyone else still alive in his life.
Rosa is stretched thinner than she's ever been, fully absorbing herself with Stella’s mental recovery while also working with Principal Spears to continue their gardening club as a form of therapy, purposefully leaving no time for her to even think about what happened for more than a glancing thought.
Through gardening, maybe they'll be able to help each other move on, pulling each other up and out of the spiral of darkness. Maybe they'll end up helping a few others too. And quite possibly, maybe their renewed friendship will lead to something that could’ve happened in the first place, if not for a certain parasaur’s initial schedule-meddling.Maybe there's still a future for all of them, after all.

Summary
Ten years since the shooting and everyone has been struggling to move on. Ripley and Samantha Aaron, still married despite everything, are simply going through the motions, living a life with no meaning after losing both of their children. Patricia Freeman has just barely managed to make ends meet working as a bartender and part-time bass player. Reed Redington lives the rest of days constantly high, in an effort to forget the pain, while doing a bit drumming here and there. Rosa Rodriguez lives on family's farm, but struggles with constant nightmares of what happened. Stella Baudelaire stays inside, afraid of the outside world since the shooting and spends most of her time online, only ever coming out to get the necessities. The former and disgraced, Principal Spears, sells cars but has no more drive and is haunted by his failures.
And Anon Y. Mous... Is a successful technician in the field of robotics. He has a wife, a two year old daughter and a son on the way. Despite everything, Anon has managed to find happiness once again. Once everyone else from his past finds that he's returned to Volcaldera Bluffs for his job, they're curious as to how the human has found happiness again. Maybe he can help them.
