Jiang Cheng did not know what he expected when he went to a bar with Nie Huaisang, Wen Ning and Wen Qing.
He certainly did not expect to get tipsy enough to confess his undying love to his best friend's older brother.
And he most definitely did not expect to wake up naked the following morning with Nie Mingjue sleeping beside him.
So, he does the only logical thing. Leaves while Nie Mingjue is still asleep and decides to avoid him.
This is proven to be more difficult than he thought considering the fact that Nie Mingjue was not letting him go now.

There is no explanation for why he stepped forward and kissed Jiang Cheng. Why he is still kissing Jiang Cheng.
Nie Mingjue has lost complete and utter control over himself and he can’t even find it in him to stop. Instead he kisses Jiang Cheng again and again, like he has wanted to do for so long.
He only stops when Jiang Cheng makes a sound in his throat that feels like a bucket of cold water has been upended over Nie Mingjue. He wrenches himself away from Jiang Cheng—and it’s harder than it has any right to be—and the implication of what he did hits him full force.
He just kissed Jiang Cheng.
“I—” he starts, though he’s not sure what he’s going to say, so he trails off.
Nie Mingjue is still searching for words when Jiang Cheng blinks once, twice and then simply turns around on his heels and leaves the room.

Summary
If you had asked Barry a year ago where he thought he’d be now, he would’ve had it all mapped out. Fourth year of his undergrad, finishing up his degree with a thesis that was no doubt consuming his every waking thought. Fresh off his co-op at the most innovative lab in the country, he would’ve said something about the countless job offers he’d be fielding for when he finally graduated, or maybe about taking the track team to championships for the fourth year in a row and coming back with another gold medal to hang on his wall.
Instead, he’s sitting in the bleachers of the stadium watching his boyfriend score another touchdown, waiting for the game to finish so Len can pretend he doesn’t know him and Barry can pretend he wouldn’t give anything to have just a piece of this — the turf under his sneakers, the burn behind his ribs, the rush of competition.
After an injury leaves Barry unable to run track anymore, he struggles to stay in control of his life, including his relationship with closeted football player Len.
