I remember the first time I put on the Ring – dying and terrified, alone and abandoned – I was dazzled by the life you gave me then, Yami. Popularity, good grades, discipline, self-advocacy. It’s only seeing what you were able to do in the Shadow game with Yugi that I realize how powerless you were then. Even the few battles you fought, you were only able to do them when provoked and with my will.
I chose to take revenge for you in blood – and in doing so gave you real, physical power. I plunged my hands in the filth so my life could be easier.
You see now, why I’m writing to you, and not Amane? I couldn't confess this to Dahmer. Even now, as the worst enemies we’ve ever been, I still need you.
You’re part of me Yami. It’s something I can admit now. I have given so much of myself to you. We have become irrevocably intertwined. I’ve lived with you in my head for the last six years, and the silence and loneliness I experience now is agony. I couldn’t be more alone if I was at the bottom of the ocean.

The exact location and time period he's been transported to? Smack in the middle of The Odyssey on Odysseus' ship, right before the crew lands on Helios' island. And when Zeus arrives to cast judgement, he comes face-to-face with a demigod, young and mortal and inexplicably, undeniably his.
Jason thinks that Zeus couldn't care less about him.
Unfortunately for him, he's about to be proven very, very wrong.
