Summary
It’s a known fact that all magic users know how to speak the Old Tongue. One day, Uther decides to send Arthur on a secret mission, that is to poison an entire village of sorcerers that spelled themselves to understand only that language. Merlin, of course, decides to tag along, even though he doesn’t know what they’re doing.
In the blink of an eye, all gets turned upside down, and Arthur is straight up not having a good time. Merlin is suddenly fluent in the Old Tongue and the prince accidentally poisoned himself!
