Enid thought that her obsession with Evolution was bordering unhealthy, considering the sometimes dangerous lengths she would go to just to witness some of the rarer Pokémon on the Ranch evolve; it was nothing compared to the downright unacceptable and probably creepy infatuation she felt for this Hex Maniac battling before her.
Enid was screwed, completely and totally screwed. If Wednesday truly wanted to sacrifice her atop Spear Pillar to the First One Enid would willing to accept that so long as Wednesday never stopped entertaining her. She prayed, perhaps a bit pathetically, that Wednesday would never grow bored of her. Would never cast her away like a dirty napkin.
Enid prayed, definitely more than a bit pathetically, that maybe she could be as fascinating to Wednesday as Wednesday was to her.
