Now, Stolas just looked... sad. Not in quite the numb fog he'd been in the weeks after the trial or after Sinsmas, but still sad. Like his edges had dulled.
Un-fucking-acceptable.
Blitz approached his desk and leaned against the side. "What's up, big bird?"
Stolas sighed. "I'm alright, Blitz."
"Uh huh." Blitz lifted a brow.
Stolas huffed and looked away.
Blitz didn't move, ignoring the others whispering behind him. They could suck it.
Stolas fidgeted for one minute. Two. Blitz watched him, until finally, Stolas sunk down into his chair and mumbled, "I miss the stars."

Blitz has a surprise for Stolas. Or: the one where Blitz takes Stolas to see the Northern Lights.
I'm sure someone has done this already, but this story infected my brain and demanded to be written, so. Here we are.
