Summary
You were a young adult, one that- unbeknownst to the rest of the world- had discovered their identity as a demon hunter. Honest to god, it was a complete accident. You were just trying to get home after a late-night snack run, one earbud in as you quietly sang along to one of the Saja Boys’ songs- ‘Your Idol'- under your breath.
Next thing you knew, you were being pulled by your neck and shoved into an alleyway by what you could only describe as a demon. It was a hulking beast with massive tusks so large they disfigured its mouth- purple skin with pulsating marks cascading across its leathery flesh, and eyes full of an animalistic hunger that made the call of death hum in your ears. You were going to die there, you felt it in your soul.

That being said- if you like the current arc we're on in canon TSaMS, this fic prolly ain't for you. If you like some of it but hate other parts, this fic is prolly mostly for you. And if you also just hate it with a burning passion, too? Yeah this is for you lmao
Tldr: This is the "Sun's Therapy With JACK! in VRChat" and "Monty's Plan to SAVE OLD MOON?" episodes smooshed together and a little to the left, all from Sun's perspective. I didn't like how he disowned New Moon and basically called him a toxic/horrible person, so I wrote how I would've made that scene play out

He demands an answer from his always hesitant and fumbling sensei; he hopes that whatever he says will debunk the sad, jealous thoughts that rip at his head incessantly.
Wu does not respond, hesitating, a contemplative and hurt frown on his face.
Morro stares at him; he is unsurprised by his inability to admit that he does have favorites, but something inside of him hurt after seeing his sensei at a loss of words. He chuckles bitterly, eyes shining. “Then I am leagues below them.”
