Summary
Barbarian King Katsuki has had enough of waiting ; he gathers his best warriors one night and they leave his castle to go on what he mysteriously call a dragon quest. Only Ochako, the sovereign's witch friend, seems to be aware of his plan, but even his smart advisor prefers not to ask.
After setting camp and magically disguising himself thanks to the witch's spell, Katsuki goes scouting around the dragon's massive lair despite his knights and advisor's pleas. He's detected and captured by sentries rather quickly, and forcefully brought to the Dragon King's quarters for judgement... none of the sentries questioning why their sovereign dismisses them so fast.

Katsuki had learned that sometimes being a Hero meant putting one's needs on the back-burner, and to be honest he was more okay with that than most. Easier to deflect questions when he had a ready answer; being a Hero came first.
He wants nothing more than to be the best he can be, secondary gender by damned. That is until the only brand of suppressants he could stomach suddenly became discontinued. Now his body is forcing a heat he hasn't asked for, making decisions for him. He’s left wondering if it would be better suffering in silence at home, buried under a nest that will never feel like enough. Or giving in to his friend's request to try out the one place he never wished to visit even if he was dragged there kicking and screaming.
How far Katsuki willing to go to seem normal.
