Maria lost her company, her house, her father, and now, her girlfriend. To be fair, her now ex-girlfriend is the one who robbed her of most of those things. Now all Maria had to her name was the clothes on her back and her favorite car. She took off in an aimless direction hoping to start anew somewhere in this world. She had no idea that somewhere would be a rundown mansion on some tiny island outside of Vale. Run by a curious red and white-themed couple who had aspirations of turning the old building into a hotel. She couldn't complain, at least they were cute.
Now if only they didn't also have nine adopted kids.

Summary
Winter was excited about getting some time away from her family. Yes, she loved her family, but the constant stresses of training at combat school, navigating annoying drama with her friends, and having to be a good sister to her three siblings were starting to wear on her. A big vacation to Mistral for them and a relaxing two-week stay at the fanciest hotel in all of Atlas for her was just what they all needed.
At least, it was relaxing until Winter started hearing strange noises coming from the basement of the hotel.
