    Loki takes the Tesseract to Thanos immediately after Surtur, and doesn't leave the Titan's grasp. Thor is relieved, and horrified, when, some months later, the Guardians find his brother alive...but not whole. Thanos has twisted Loki's mind awfully, and Thor is left to put the broken pieces of his sibling back together.

As she finally decides to flee Asgard and return to her homeland of Vanaheim, Odin returns from the war carrying the infant son of his enemy, Laufey.
