Sora was tough. He was strong. It would take far more than a few rocks to take Sora out! Far more than boulders falling from above, the ground giving way beneath his feet... plunging into the darkness below.
There were ravines in the Underworld that seemed to stretch on forever, the bottoms hidden by green smog or so far away that light couldn't stretch far enough down. For all they knew, some might truly be bottomless. It was hard to know what to expect in Hade's domain. They could only hope that the one Sora had fallen into hadn't been too deep.'

Sora takes a tumble in the Underworld and wakes up confused with the worst headache of his life. Donald and Goofy frantically search for him, then are stuck trying to get the very concussed half-pint to safety.

Summary
If he'd known there was a dangerous, insane man in Radiant Garden, he would've stocked up way better. Surviving that and Riku rummaging around his memories is a little too much for one day.
In sum: Sora fights someone way out of his league, flips over Riku figuring out his feelings, and goes to the Christmas ball with his newly dubbed family.

Summary
Things have finally calmed down enough for Sora to bring Riku to Arendelle for a couple days of fun and relaxation. Sora needs it, given his keyblade has taken to appearing whenever he gets upset or sad. But of course, they get seperated. Of course, Sora has to quest for an answer to the keyblade's strange behavior. And of course, Riku has a rival for Sora's fragile, frozen heart.
TL;DR Sora's falling apart and pretending he isn't. Riku isn't fooled.

Summary
Riku realized how much he loved and needed Sora too late, and now he's had to live a year and a half with no clue where his best friend is or if he's even safe. True happiness has been evading him, and all he can get are small moments of peace with their friends, though he really only finds respite with Roxas and occasionally Kairi. That all changes on the night of Kairi's birthday, but that change for the better comes at the price of a traumatic experience for all parties involved.
OR: Riku manages to wish Sora back into reality entirely by accident. Chaos (ft. Rage Form) ensues.
