After Adam’s death, Abel had taken over as leader of the exorcists. He wasn’t too pleased about it, but as long as Lute couldn’t exercise her wrath, he was okay with being in authority. He found comfort in them actually, as they enjoyed the way he was well,, not misogynistic.
Often times he’d request for them to share a bed with him, not for sex, but for cuddles. Lute was never asked for obvious reasons.
She didn’t mind of course, but she remained furious, that feeling only amplified when she found out what Abel had been dreaming about. Thus, she decided to take matters into her own hands.
