Summary
Under ordinary circumstances, Alastor is polished and poised. Always three steps ahead, perfectly composed. You knew this about him, but there's a certain time of year where he gets...sloppy. Slips up more often, yet the smile never falters. It's different, and at times you're not really sure what it means.

Alastor kept Vox’s gaze, and cocked an eyebrow. “Are you just going to keep looking at me all day? Or do you have further plans?”
“Oh, I have plans,” Vox said, his voice clear, “But first, I’m going to take my time–” Vox lowered his voice to a growl “ –and really look at all of you.”
For the first time, Alastor lightly blushed.

Vox circled to face Alastor, then slowly reached out and grazed Alastor’s face with his nails. Vox’s teasing touch left a trail of goosebumps along Alastor’s skin.
Vox lowered his voice to a whisper. “Now, what should I take off first?”

“Exceedingly so,” Alastor smirked and Vox scowled. He’d walked right into that one.
Alastor held up his hands in a sassy, little shrug. “But as I told you earlier, you helped me break a chain that’s been a thorn in my side for a very long time. So I believe I owe you more than a simple thank you. Look, I even brought you a gift.”
