When the twins tickle Ron and Harry one too many times, the two younger boys decide to get revenge.

Summary
A hunt almost goes to crap and Gabriel doesn’t take kindly to the boys’ attitudes toward screwing up. (Let’s say this takes place sometime between 5x08 Changing Channels and 5x19 Hammer of the Gods. Gabriel has popped in once or twice to help the boys out of a tough spot, but has generally made a nuisance of himself.)

A slow blink transitioned Gabriel’s focus to the younger hunter. “Oh.” He quirked an eyebrow. “Oh, that’s too good.”
Dean glanced over at his brother with one of those anger-flavored expressions that Gabriel supposed was meant to pass for concern. “Sammy?”
Sam was busy trying to fight off a particularly amusing look of panic. “We- we get it, Gabriel. We’ll be more careful, promise.”

Summary
With how playful and annoyingly-endearing Gabriel tended to behave around Sam, it was sometimes easy to forget the decades that he had spent as a trickster, but Sam really shouldn’t have been surprised - of course Gabriel would go overboard with getting back at him. Nevertheless, whenever he had tried to imagine what exactly Gabriel’s revenge plan was, a voodoo doll hadn’t factored into the equation.

He was dimly aware of the distressed shouts as Sam and Dean tried to figure out how to fight off something they couldn’t see. Castiel was more concerned about the immediacy with which the monster was shoving him back flat on the floor and surging up onto his chest.
It was heavy. That was about the only thing he could tell for sure. It also had limbs – a surprising number of them, flexible like snakes that writhed against him as it battled for dominance. At this point, Castiel had no reason to believe that the creature was comprised of anything but limbs. Appendages, more accurately. Tentacles, perhaps most accurately.
Oh. So that’s what they were dealing with.
