Summary
Blood of My Blood is a collaborative AU of the novel Dracula, made by several amazing contributors, producing writing, art and meta. In the AU, the Harkers and their vampire son, Quincey, become permanent residents of Castle Dracula. Quincey is raised by his loving but ethereal Mum (Mina), the stern and commanding Father (Dracula) and Papa (Jonathan), who willingly gives his blood to all three vampires through "kisses" to sustain his family. A lot of work went into maintaining the illusion of the happy family.
Quincey's rose-tinted glasses make his childhood seem idyllic, and when he travels to London and meets Lu Holmwood, he promptly falls in love. But one evening he is given a stack of documents by Arthur, the writings of his parents and others, documenting exactly what kind of person his Father was (is?), and what his parents were like before he knew them.How does it feel to read a horror novel when it's your happy childhood that is the horror?

Quincey Harker, half-vampire and endlessly sweet, has escaped to England and found Arthur Holmwood, John Seward (though mute and lost his hand) and Lu, the spunky daughter they raised. After being pursued by Dracula, they recurved unexpected assistance from Turned Jonathan and Mina, but Quincey was injured in the fray.
Or, Arthur Holmwood is taking some time to warm up to the half-vampire that's in love with his daughter.
