Daniela never noticed it until fans started pointing the small details out one by one. Almost every other tiktok scroll would be a “ship” edit or compilation of her being attentive to Sophia during interviews or weverse lives. She wasn’t even aware of it, her actions were just common things she used to do even during Dream Academy. But were they really common habits she did with no reason? She knew her and Sophia had been close since their trainee days but how close were they really?

For the past week, and all the hours that Yoonchae has been awake, she hasn’t not thought about Megan kissing a girl. It lingers in her mind: the heavy breathing, the slick sound of lips crushing into each other, and the wandering hands on hair and skin. It makes her feel sick to the stomach, her chest tightening with a feeling she can’t put a name to.
Yoonchae tries not to think about it too much, but she fails. Megan happens to kiss girls, and now she has to deal with that piece of knowledge torturing her for the rest of her life.
(Megan kisses girls. Yoonchae definitely does not have a severe crisis due to that.)

“You just need to report to me how and what she’s doing. That’s all, Dani.” Manon’s voice was soft but urgent, her eyes pleading as if this mattered more than Daniela realized.
Daniela shook her head, frustration bubbling up. “I’m not gonna be your girlfriend’s stalker, Manon. That’s crazy!”Her mind spun with a thousand swirling thoughts, the weight of the request pressing down on her chest.
“You’re not stalking her,” Manon insisted, her tone desperate yet hopeful. “You’re just—investigating. Besides, you’re friends with her sister. You have a huge chance of seeing her more than I do. Please, Dani.”
Daniela met her sister’s gaze and saw the raw emotion there—vulnerability tangled with fear. It was like Manon was one fragile breath away from breaking down, and the tension filled the room so thick Daniela could almost taste it.
It’s not like anything’s gonna happen, right? Daniela told herself, trying to steady her racing heart.
After a long pause, she finally whispered, “Fine. I’ll do it.”
What she didn’t know was that “anything” was about to happen—and it was going to change everything.
