Summary
Gerry thinks he's probably figured it out, by this point.
He's a book. Stuck in a void. Waiting for Jon and Martin to whizz past on their multiverse adventures. That's the deal.
(Seems like a shitty deal, if you ask him.)
Still, maybe one of these times he'll end up Somewhere Else. Somewhere beyond.
In the mean time, he'll wait....
In other other words, it's Gerry's perspective on his existence in the Seeking Somewhere 'verse. Highly recommended that you read the first in the series, Somewhere Old, or else this will make no sense I fear.
This fic was written as a gift for Shroomie, as part of the Pitchpine Pride Month Gift Exchange 2025.

A crossover fic of The Friends of Mr. Spider (my Web!Jon AU) and Seeking Somewhere (my time travel fix-it series).
This go-around, the Jon and Martin we know and love end up somewhere suspiciously... spidery? In which our traumatized Interdimensional Husbands and Mr. and Mr. Spider both come face-to-face with their personal nightmares: Each other.

Summary
Jonathan Sims is a merperson who has always lived below the waves. One day, however, he steals away and ventures to the surface in search of someone he lost. On newfound legs, his search takes him to The Magnus Institute — the foremost academic institution researching crypto-zoology and crypto-marine biology, headed by the enigmatic Elias Bouchard. With his new position as Head Archivist, Jon is in the perfect place to continue his search. Hiding his secret identity as merfolk should no problem, either.
After all, it's not like he wants to be friends, much less more-than-friends with the humans.
And surely none of them are hiding secrets of their own.
Right?
...
In other words: It's a selkie and merfolk AU! Jon is merfolk, and goes to the surface in search of a long-lost friend. He takes a job at the Magnus Institute as part of his search, and soon finds himself embroiled in all kinds of drama — including, but not limited to, falling in love.

Summary
When Jonathan Sims is promoted to Head Archivist, he expects to get answers for the questions that have plagued him since childhood. He doesn't expect the zombie, the friendly spider monster, the sentient door, nor his romantic feelings for each of them. The world-ending Extinction lesbians have to take the cake, though.
Jon Sees a lot, but he really didn't see that one coming.(This fic will contain spoilers for all of The Magnus Archives and the first episode of The Magnus Protocol.)
Updates Fridays.

Martin thinks he's probably figured it out, by this point.
Where the Fears go, he and Jon go. That's the deal.
(Seems like a shitty deal, if you ask him.)
Still, maybe one of these times they'll end up Somewhere Else. Somewhere they can finally rest.
In the mean time, the Antichrist and his plus one will just have to fix as many universes as possible....
In other other words, it's a post-canon time travel fix-it fic, okay? Everyone knew I would write one of these eventually.

Summary
Timothy Stoker and Jonathan Sims are perfectly normal private investigators who have just moved to the quaint town of Stoneworth. Absolutely nothing sinister or spooky is going on, Jon definitely doesn't drink blood, Tim doesn't smell like wet dog, and their new flat most certainly isn't haunted.
After all, ghosts aren't real.
Right?...
In other words: Vampire!Jon and Werewolf!Tim move their private eye business to a small English university town expecting it to be quieter than London.
Then ghost!Martin appears, local grad student Sasha James brings a string of disappearances to their attention, the police are werewolves, the academics are vampires, and the gentry are mad scientists.
But despite it all, Jon adamantly maintains that ghosts definitely, certainly, absolutely are NOT real, thank you VERY much. Now complete!

Summary
The strings wrapped him in their web, starting from his chest and twisting and fluttering around him.
There were friends at the ends of these strings, Mr. Spider had told him as a child. He just had to follow the strings where they lead.
There were victims at the ends of these strings, The Mother had told him. They would be delicious. With curiosity, Jon reached out and let the bright red string curl around his finger freely. The most beautiful, he thought. It tightened around him. In response, Jon gave it a gentle tug.
Instantly, his vision was overtaken.
Tea, made perfectly with milk and a dash of sugar and a lot of love. A deep, deep loneliness. A lie on a resume. White fog, dusty shelves full of documents, a sound like wet pasta. Fear, fear, fear. Jon’s face, all eight of his eyes open, gazing sharply at something behind him.
Love, love, love. So much love.
A gunshot.
“Martin!” Jon gasped, coming to. “Who the hell is Martin?”
Or:
Jon doesn't escape Mr. Spider, and becomes a child avatar of the Web. This changes some things, but not others.
