Ratchet can't remember when his hands first started to hurt. They've been that way for a long time now, and random aches and pains mean next-to-nothing in the grand scheme of the horror that is war.
He does remember the first time he noticed they were stiff though, when their grip started to weaken.

…So that’s what it looks like when you grin, huh? Smirking, Genma basked in the glow as he passed his teammate the hot mug of matcha with honey and milk that had been waiting for his attention for the last few minutes, carefully wrapping Kakashi’s trembling hands around the mug as Kakashi gingerly propped himself up against the hearth. Well, I’ll be damned if it’s not one of the prettier faces I’ve ever given rescue breathing to.

Summary
Sakura and Kakashi are the only ones left of team 7. Before the deaths of Naruto and Sasuke, they had made a seal to send them into the past as a last resort. They never got to use that last resort.
It's all up to Sakura and Kakashi now, to go back and fix this before it all started. Though, Kakashi wasn't expecting to wake up as a child, before Sakura was even born.
(Will probably have only a few chapters dedicated to kid Kakashi, before the rest of team 7 is born.)

This is such an interesting concept and the heaviness of continues growth with nowhere to go and the unwillingness but inevitability of change are so eloquently written

Summary
When she was hired by House Praestigo to be the attendant and personal guard of the newest member-by-bonding, Nautica, the mech who wrote up Road Rage's contract made a mistake. They had her sign her loyalty not to the House, but to her charge. As such, what Nautica wants, Nautica gets, and damn any member of the House who stands between her and her spark's desire.
