Summary
Sagging against the headboard, propped up by a fleet of dingy pillows, was a frail old man with sagging skin around the face, and thick purple bags under his eyes. The hair on the top of his head was long gone, save for a few lingering hairs on the sides, and his mustache was well overgrown, reaching past his bottom lip and ending near the bottom of his chin. Despite all of this, Elphaba recognized him instantly.
Many years after leaving Oz, Elphaba learns that the Wizard is still alive and living in exile in the land of Maracoor. Climbing aboard her broomstick, she races off to confront him, one last time…
