Going back to the beginning, before the battle of carteneau and becoming the Warrior of Light, K'tahir finds himself an unlikely Student of Baldesion. Seeking answers amongst the learned about an unknown curse and struggling against the stigma of his origins all K'tahir wanted was a friend. Little did he know he was about to get one named G'raha Tia, nor that he would change K'tahir's life forever. (This is a complete rewrite of an old fanfiction.)

Leaving everything and everyone he is familiar with to save the man lost to fate. Leading to an adventure which will forever change Noctis, Ardyn, and the whole of Lucis' history.

However, in a train compartment one morning Noctis remembers its Ignis' birthday today and cannot get over the fact he dosen't have a birthday gift for his beloved. Asking Ignis to stay behind when Gladio leaves the train compartment that morning Noctis tries to express his thoughts on the matter and Ignis knows just what to say as always.
