He heard more shots fired near Drift and turned to see the Insecticon he was facing in a similar situation to his. While Sideswipe was mostly just relieved to not have to fight the cons anymore and Grim was just happy to be able to uncover his audio receptors, Drift only looked more weary of his surroundings. He quickly ran towards the others and stood in a defensive position.

A rewrite of Digimon Frontier based on my ideas.
"He ran as the evening sun was starting to set, past the familiar houses in his neighborhood, he was familiar with the route, having gone it many times. He was clutching his phone as the wind rushed past his face, he had always been a good runner, especially compared to other kids his age.
A man and his son were playing soccer ahead of him, he passed them without paying them much mind, as he did the man was distracted by his phone, answering it and accidentally letting the ball roll past him.
He watched as he saw the ball roll past him and out of instinct ran to catch up with it, he stopped it with his foot and in one smooth motion turned around to pass it back to the man and his kid.
Time seemed to slow for a bit as he turned his head, being met with the sight of a old delivery truck barreling towards him, the driver distracted by his phone just noticed him, way too late to avoid a collision.
He stared, frozen in place, wondering if this was his “Future”."
