Sapphire overheard the broadcast from one of the rooms next to hers, and her heart shattered, because in just two weeks she had lost everything.
Follow Marinette, now armed with the Butterfly Miraculous on her quest to restore the butterfly brooch, Free nooroo from his curse, and clear her name; all the while old allies try to get revenge on Purple Sapphire for the murder of Ladybug, and Chat Noir is out for blood.

Summary

Hawkmoth is running her ragged as Ladybug, and after three years Lila has finally managed to make good on her promise to ruin her life and leave her all alone. Desperate and exhausted, Marinette finally decides to take drastic measures; something’s gotta give, and that something can’t be Ladybug. She decides to take her civilian self out of the equation for a while, but a terrible sleep-deprived decision forces her to put things into motion way before she’s ready. Now she has to try and stick to her guns, despite the devastation she’s left in her wake…which for some reason seems to have hit Adrien and Chat Noir the hardest.

Summary
After the defeat of Gabriel Agreste and the disappearance of the mysterious peacock miraculous user, Marinette is left to try her best as Guardian and pick up the pieces. With the kwamis left in hibernation, no leads on the missing peacock miraculous, and no way to contact her beloved partner, she's left to her wit's end on where to proceed.
That is, until the prime suspect of the peacock wielder coincidentally takes up an apprenticeship at her parents' bakery. Adrien Agreste, son of Hawkmoth, has seemingly planted his roots in her home while Marinette was away for an apprenticeship. This could either be a disaster in the making, or the perfect opportunity to retrieve the missing miraculous... either way, it's war.
At least, it would be, if the gosh darn villain weren't so sweet!

Marinette had always been so patient with Adrien when it came to matters of his father. She understood that he struggled to say 'no', that he was trying his best. She always made it clear that she loved him anyway.
But even she had her limits. Her trust in him was wearing thin.
Good, he couldn't help but think, standing at her front door with his father whispering into his earpiece. She shouldn't trust me.
