Summary
One day, you woke up with the awareness that the world around you was wrong. It wasn't reality. You were just a character in a fictional plane of existence. While utter despair should have been the reasonable reaction, with the gain of awareness, you couldn't bring yourself to feel or care.

The world was fictional.
A prewritten death was inevitable.You might as well just live like that... or at least, that was what you thought before that scam of tablet fell into your lap. On it was an app that connected you to the real world.

It's not quite the welcome home you're hoping for, but you suppose it's a bit of a given since you've been putting it off for four years straight. It's just too bad you won't get to enjoy all that awkward tension when all your plans are thrown off the deep end.
