Summary
It's been weeks since the Idol Awards, weeks since the world almost ended, weeks since Rumi begged--demanded--that Celine kill her as the Honmoon fell apart around them.
Celine has never felt more isolated, texts and calls to Rumi, Mira, and Zoey ignored. She's far more familiar with the bottom of a bottle of liquor then she is with this new era, the new Honmoon, the new philosophy and attitude that Huntrix ushered in and created.
Until a single text pings on her phone.

Summary
Rumi laughs first, soft, bright, perfectly timed, like she always does, like she’s been doing her whole life. Zoey knows that laugh all too well.
“Well,” she says, tilting her head just slightly, the picture of modesty, “Zoey’s the sugar—” Zoey feels the word land on her skin like something sticky, something that clings. “— Mira’s the spice,” Rumi continues easily, and Mira hums beside her, amused, already leaning into it, already playing along, “and I’m…” There’s a pause— long enough to feel intentional.
Rumi smiles, small and self-aware and just shy of smug. “Well. I’m everyone’s type.”
The interviewer laughs, delighted. The cameras drink it in.
OR:
Rumi, Mira, and Zoey star in a highly-anticipated historical romance drama with a princess, an arranged marriage, and a forbidden love. Off screen, the tropes don’t stay fictional. Between Mira and Rumi's PR-stunt fake relationship, Zoey and Rumi's dating history no one knows about, and Zoey and Mira's secret relationship that complicates everything, the line between performance and reality starts to blur.
It would be easier if it were just acting. There's a script for fuck's sake.
No one is following it.

Summary
Rumi touched her fingers to her ribs. She could feel the heat radiating from her skin, even through her clothes. A distant, miserable part of her said, this is going to hurt.
She pushed her fingers down.
The rib shifted.
The thing about telling one very big lie is that it requires a foundation of hundreds of smaller lies to hold it up, lies such as "I'm fine," and "nothing's broken," and "it doesn't hurt."
Rumi finds this out the hard way.

Summary
She would visit, just once more. Just to make sure the thing had adjusted and was looked after. After all, that was all Miyeong had asked of her. To take care, not to raise, not to love.
Yes, she would go, and she would never see the creature again. Then she would move far away and start a new life. No Honmoon, no demons, and certainly no ties to Miyeong.
___
Or Celine doesn't raise Rumi and instead leaves her at an orphanage as an infant. However, she can't stop coming back.
