Summary
The one thing nobody ever told Marcus, about the long process to becoming a Death Eater, was how fucking boring it is. He's stuck guarding the abandoned Black place, but when Snape brings him a new task, he's put on a collision course with Harry Potter, who he hasn't seen in years.
Harry doesn't much like anyone, doesn't much like himself most days, which is impressive since he feels like he has no idea who he even is, but that's okay, Marcus likes him enough for the both of them.
Snape has his own motivations for putting Marcus on this job though, and when it comes to a head, Marcus and Harry will be forced to stay in an unfamiliar safe house together, indefinitely. Stuck with nothing but themselves, a house that hasn't been touched since the 1950s, their own thoughts, and their opposite positions in the war, what will two young men plucked out of a conflict learn about themselves and each other?

Harry fails in saving Sirius, he goes to bed mourning the man, only to wake up the next morning. Only, it wasn't the next day. Watching his godfather die over and over again, he finally goes to Hermione for help. Just for her to tell him someone else was trapped with him and he needed them to work with him to get out. The fact that said person was Marcus Flint, simply made matters worse.
