A blindingly bright light filled the living room, its golden glow reflecting off the TV, effectively blocking out the news that was currently reporting about the happy reunion of one of the UA kids with their family after being abducted by villains during a training camp in the woods. A collective hiss rang out as everyone in the room covered their eyes.
It was over as quickly as it began, a little afterglow receding back into the form that the light spit out in the middle of the hallway. You.You were beyond confused, especially when you saw a group of seven lounging on various pieces of furniture staring back at you, each of their faces more familiar than the last. Finally, your gaze settled upon a pair of red eyes, the man belonging to them leaning over the back of the couch he was sitting on as the gaming console he was holding slowly slipped out of his hands.

Summary
He should have been screaming for joy, Langa had done it, he had beaten Joe, one of the best racers in S, but Reki couldn't forget that Langa's next race could end up being against Adam. He couldn't stand by while Langa pushed himself to these unimaginable heights. He couldn't watch while Langa maimed himself trying to compete with people way outside his league. He couldn’t lose another friend.
It was at that moment that Reki realized he couldn't be the supportive friend on the sidelines. There was only one thing he could do.
He left.In the aftermath of Langa's race against Joe, Reki realizes he can't support Langa's dangerous habit. So he decides to leave skateboarding, and Okinawa for good.

Reki Kyan is one of the dime-a-dozen figure skaters certified by the JSF.
Langa Hasegawa is one of the most promising up-and-coming men's singles figure skaters - he's taken the Juniors world by storm, winning competition after competition for his homeland, Canada. He is beautiful, talented, and popular; surely that means he would be too good for the likes of Reki.
Figure skating is everything to him. His first year in the Senior Grand Prix series also means everything to him - Reki was going to show the world just how much he loved skating.
Somewhere along the way, his pining after Langa Hasegawa turns into a friendship. And somewhere a little further along the way, that friendship begins to evolve.

The words were as black as they were this morning, but when his shaky hands touched them, the words glowed red for a split second then faded back to normal.

Summary
Emperor Ra's Al Guhl had been Emperor of Earth for well over thirty long years. Long enough to crush rebellion and re-established his own governments over the whole planet.
Emperor Kal-El has ruled Krypton for fifty years, and before him, his father Jor-El. His son Kon-El is soon to take the throne.
With rebellion growing on Earth, and the Lantern Corp getting bolder in their advances on Krypton, the two Emperor's agree to form an Alliance to benefit both empires.
Only their Prince's have other plans.
Prince Damian Al Guhl plans to over throw his grandfather and take the kingdom for himself, while Prince Jon-El, well, he's yet to decide what he wants, but all he knows is that Damian makes a tempting offer.
